MasOrange and UNICEF Spain have announced an unprecedented partnership, powered by Impactco, to promote and protect children’s rights in the digital environment. The partnership seeks to integrate children as a stakeholder group in MasOrange’s corporate practices, ensuring that their rights are considered in all business decisions.
The partnership focuses on four key pillars: integrating children into business strategy, assessing the impact of products and services on their well-being, raising awareness of safe connectivity, and collaborating with key institutions and stakeholders to strengthen regulations in favour of digital children.
In addition, MasOrange will support connectivity in schools in countries with the greatest digital divide through the UNICEF and International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Giga Programme. As part of this commitment, the ‘TODO’ campaign has been launched to raise awareness of child protection in the digital environment and to promote safe and responsible practices.
This alliance, driven by ImpactCo, represents a milestone in the integration of children’s rights in the strategy of one of the leading telecommunications companies, marking a before and after in the digital protection of children and adolescents.
